From sunrise golf outings to early evening private events with groups both large and small – we provide both casual to high end dining and catering for them all!

As a chef/cook at Safari Golf there are a variety of shifts and guests you may be preparing food for. Our café provides buffet meals for golf outings and private events, menu items for the bar/café, and assists the bar staff as needed.



Position starts at $12-$14 per hour, based on experience


  • Acts as primary Cook for either opening or closing shift.
  • Performs daily basis tasks including cooking and food preparation, customer service, cleaning kitchen and event facilities and equipment, register/computer operation, inventory control and the organization/storage of all items associated with café and event activities.
  • Establish and maintain an open and constant line of communication with the Food and Beverage Manager and with our General Manager.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Cafe POS program in order to assist with cash register operation.
  • Maintains correct sanitation and food safety behaviors and protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA and FDA.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
  • Learn and follow emergency and safety procedures, food handling policy and procedures.
  • Assists Food and Beverage Manager in maintaining proper inventory of supplies and may assist in ordering food supplies, ingredients, and consumables.


  • Experience in similar role strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years in a food service environment preferred.
  • Experience in leadership role preferred.
  • Independent decision making/problem solving ability.
  • Work a flexible schedule from middle of April through early November including evenings, weekends and holidays required.
  • Communicate well both verbally and in writing require.
  • Plan and organize work in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide excellent guest service and uphold the Make it G.R.E.A.T. standards.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with all Safari team members.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures including but not limited to safety protocols.
  • Successfully complete an employment drug screening and a criminal history background check.
