In the Rides and Attractions department, our team is dedicated to a great guest experience every day. We value safety, teamwork and fun as we operate over 20 rides and attractions throughout the Zoo. In addition to the rides and attractions we have on sight, our team provides safe transportation from the parking lot to the gates. • Enhance the Zoo and Zoombezi Bay’s atmosphere by providing an inviting and exciting rides and attractions experience.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of transportation and attractions.
• Engage with guests, answers questions and provides detailed safety instructions.
• Assist guests during boarding and unloading
• Remain attentive and alert at all times in order to react to different situations efficiently
• Provide GREAT guest service.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the attraction’s area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Posted schedule may be subject to change based on operational needs such as weather condition, guest attendance and department needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass all applicable certification tests
• Abel to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, rain).
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Possess or be willing to obtain a valid driver’s license
• Able to maintain courteous and helpful behavior.
• Able to work with diverse guest population including all ages and backgrounds.
• Able to maintain appropriate employee appearance.
• Able to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• This position is not eligible for overtime pay.
