Responsibilities

  • Oversees food and beverage outlets and team.
  • Facilitates all location-based team member training and development and actively seeks coaching opportunities to further develop seasonal team members.
  • Ensures cost-effective operation of department through proactive labor and waste management practices.
  • Follows standard operating procedures for operation and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and technology. 
  • Ensures that all team members are following uniform and grooming standards.
  • Prepares recipes as instructed.
  •  Closes and maintains cleanliness of food areas and equipment.
  • Adheres to health/safety regulations.
  • Ability to obtain PIC and SERV Safe Manager certification training.
  • Adheres to uniform and employee policies and regulations.
  • Required to learn park safety policies and codes.  
  • Position may require job rotation for The Wilds and the needs of the park.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Reports directly to F&B Supervisor and F&B Manager.
  • Posted schedules may be subject to change based on operational needs such as weather condition, guest attendance and department needs.

Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • At least 1 year of food service experience in a high-volume quick service or casual dining environment.
  • At least 6 months of food service leadership experience in a high-volume quick service or casual dining environment.
  • Able to perform physical work for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stand or walk for long periods (5+ hours) without a break.
  • Able to lift and move up to 10lbs. constantly, 30lbs. frequently, and 50lbs. occasionally.
  • Able to balance multiple assignments successfully.
  • Able to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, rain).
  • Able to work in extreme heat environments (exceeding 110˚F) for extended periods of time.
  • Able to work in extreme cold environments (to below -40˚F) for limited periods with proper protective equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to maintain courteous and helpful behavior.
  • Able to maintain an appropriate employee appearance.
  • Able to pass SERV Safe Manager certification food safety written exam.
  • This position is not eligible for overtime pay.
  • Subject to Drug Free Workplace Policy.
  • Subject to BMV check.
  • Subject to Criminal Background check.

 

This is a summer seasonal employment opportunity, with start dates available from late February through December
