Overview

CEED at Manatees

The primary responsibility of the Seasonal Interpretive Educator is to provide visitors with an engaging and safe experience while observing animals in designated areas of the Zoo. These areas include, but are not limited to, the Kangaroo Walkabout, Lorikeet and Asia Quest Aviaries, Giraffe Feeding, Stingray Bay, Adventure Cove Sea Lion Deck, and the Manatee Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. Daily assignments will vary, and you will work in multiple areas during a single shift.

You will help visitors connect with the animals in our care through stories, conversations, and memorable experiences—such as feeding a giraffe, touching a stingray, or getting up close to a kangaroo. We are seeking someone who is charismatic, enjoys working with people, is proactive, has a strong sense of responsibility and thrives both independently and as part of a team.
